realised i haven't blogged for awhile.. been busy busy at sch.. medic examination (last min i know), matriculation, modules bidding, orientation. oh wells, should orientation be counted? since i ponned today. hahas. i think i shouldn't be too anti-social...before those councillors start complaining bt our og again. think i'll start going again next week. my ogl just called...to remind me bt flag next tues. oops..didn't want to go act but i got to admit that biz seniors got great persuasive powers...looks like i'll be flagging afterall.
feeling really proud of st nicks..double champ for nat'l schs track...feel happy for my sis too. so long as sports school's not the champ. kae..i'm really mean but i seriously can't stand them. cheers to sn!! (:
after much thought, i really think there's a love-hate relationship between my mum and i.. thanks to py and karen for their wonderful conclusion. hmm..she wants me to be in singapore but doesn't want to see me at home?!? force me to make up my decision on where to study..when i finally made up my mind she's trying to make me fickle-minded again.
stressed..sigh. and mods bidding are irritating. what's wrong with nus? can't they just jolly well let us do what we wanna do? make us go thru all the trouble planning and in the end i can't do what i set out to study this sem. hopefully i got my bids..don't wanna bid again especially with my laggy comp.
went running ard my estate.. had a good run today. wanted to better my timing from my last run but couldn't..had a pretty good run though..feeling more refreshed now. i'm starting to like jogs ard my estate more and more. somehow the feeling each time is different and there's always sth new to be spotted. and new running friends that i'll make..hahas.

haven't blogged for a week and blogger's got a new format. well, it's been a great week..chalet was fun..it's always nice meeting up with the girls. chatting and relaxing together always brings joy..realised how everyone's changed and yet still the same. ironic but true... anws, thanks to py and alas for getting everything in order. a waste i couldn't be there on the first nite..missed out on the detoxing game..hahas. but mahjong and being couch potatoes was fun too. it's one of the healthiest chalets i've been too..drinking water as forfeits. good way of detoxing after eating all the junk.
meet up with the oacians to celebrate jxl's birthday today..
to jxl: happy belated birthday!! it's nice seeing everyone today. haven't had such a large grp gathering for some time.. it's always comforting to know that everyone's doing fine and it's always nice sitting ard chatting with the outdoorers though the guys talk about nth but army..
think it's been a most sinful day too..finally satisfied my 2 week craving for cheesecake after lunch at nydc's.. mochamisu deluxe is yummy. hahas.
*drools* looks like i'll have to work that ice-cream and cake away tmr...blehz. hmm..and i'm still waiting for
ahem to bake me my cheesecake!
well, watched sisters yesterday.. think the show is quite good...at least there's some plot besides the scary parts. though i think it's a copycat of ring..the effects are not bad. thrilling.. ok..i think i've got a fetish for horror flims..hahas

just had buffet dinner at vienna.. celebrated aunt's birthday... the food there's good. love the tepanyaki..yums. ooh and the baby juice is super cool. juice served in test tubes. it was funny watching everyone hover ard the test-tubes trying out the various flavours. then there was this super weird grandpa who came to eat with his grandchidren. he was like "there's plenty to eat here..but eat only the expensive one." it's like super duh..irritating old man. gosh..what's the world coming to?
went back to sentosa yesterday. well, at least the weather was better this time round. sue..what a pity u cldn't join us. managed to get a little tanner. though not much..hahas. played rugby monkey...think was super fun too but super tiring..think i shall go back to sentosa again soon to get a more even tan. i'm never satisfied i know. blehs.
us at sentosa!! ivan,me,mike,sis,matt,glenda...
kinda disappointed that our bintan trip's cancelled..hopefully we can plan for another trip..one that's within our budget, in the region, enables us to fly, beach plus shopping. seems like there's no such place though..sigh. how sue?!? i wanna go on a holiday! well, shall look forward to chalet tmr..can't wait to see everyone!

watched super size me today..really grossed out by the figures and pictures. i'll not touch the golden arches anymore. i bet anyone who watches the movie will lay off fastfood for the time. unless you're desperately trying to gain weight unhealthily..hahas. but something which i really don't understand. why would anyone even want to put himself through all that torture. mac's diet for a month is ridiculous.
just uploaded the sentosa
pictures. it's alright sue...you can join us again on sunday if the weather's bright and sunny. then we can all go tanning!
mike and merlion!!
mike and i looking thru merlion's mouth..

well, been feeling super healthy the last two days. had a super good work out. went swimming at safra yesterday. had a good swim. swam 30 laps i think though i targeted to do 40. hahas. the place is quite nice. first plus point..there's music!! second plus point..slides! good place to relax..
cycled to lower pierce after that for dinner at casuarina. cycled so long til my butt was aching by the time we reached home. ate prata at my fav prata place. yums!! it's making me hungry manx.i love cheese prata! hahas

never realised so many ppl were from ij..hmmz..war heroines, actresses, president of netball singapore..eeks. hahas. maybe will pop by ij fest ltr if it's still on. suddenly realised how much i miss st nicks. adapted this frm sue's blog..
traits that define convent girls: loud laughter, incessant chatter, uninhabited behaviour.. well, that's how true...
celebrated rach's birthday on fri..dinner at swensens..couldn't decide where to go after tt. end up chatting at istana park. with rach ard...what else would be talk about besides marriage and kids.. while rach started digging up everyone's love-life..realised how much things have changed and how everyone has changed. i'd agree with miss kwan on how we've all matured from the rock-wall photo that we took.. everyone's so different now. everyone with their own aspirations. it's just a difference of few months yet it seems like years.
anyway, happie birthday rach!! i'm so jealous of you..hahas. well, enjoy yourself in china okies.. be careful and take care!
took many pretty
pictures too. thanks sue!! now looking forward to our bintan trip. hope it'll be fun. hahas.and sue..tanning next wed yes? i'll bring my german cousin along and we can all go to sentosa together!
watched spidey with bb and cy yesterday. good show..prefer it to the first one..wondering if there'll be a spidey3. hmmz...but the only setback was the second row seats. gosh. it's really tiring looking at vertical screens. went to crepes and creme too..had choco crave for dinner when i'm supposed to be eating healthily. haiz..sinful. but it's yummy. i'm not a choc lover but i think it's reallie good.
i shall go upload my hols pictures soon and stop procrastinating..hahas.

realised i've been neglecting my blog since i got back from thailand. been too lazy to blog. hahas. ok sue. this post is made specially for you...
well, thailand was good. had lots of fun shopping, bargaining, plus laughing and bitching bt the other 2 families in our group.one singapore family and one china family. all the sin fam does is take pics and more pics whereas the china family's main concern is food..so while the two families are at loggerheads with each other right from the start of the trip, es and i just sat back watch and laugh at them. discreetly..hahas. well, maybe they're talking bt us too.. but it was really fun watching the war btwn them when it came to free time coz it seems like one family wld fight for more eating time and the other wld wanna see more stuffs. and the two of us.. more shopping!! hahas. 3 different groups of ppl with totally different interest on the same tour. imagine how chaotic it cld get. but we concluded that both of us were the neutral party..and got most entertainment out of it. hahas.
visited korat, northeast thailand, or rather narkon ratchasima(hope i got the spelling rite). the weather was hot..but the place was nice. enjoyed the little cowboy town of pensuk where all the hotel rooms have a red indian and cowboy theme. only managed to stay there for one night though. sigh. wished we spent more nights there it'd be wonderful. the scenery was great, the rooms were all decorated in cowboy style, each room with it's individual fireplace, all the furniture and walls were painted red-indian style. even the recep and waitresses were dressed in cowboy and red-indian attire. there were many activites there too..archery, horse-riding, shooting, but quite sad didn't have enough time to play. sobs. think it's a reallie cool place. wanna go back there some day. but it's quite inaccessible so yea.
went to practically all the night-markets there were.. had lots of fun bargaining. the satisfaction you get out of bargaining. hahas. these are some stuffs you don't get a chance to do when you're with parents i guess. but i gotta say es is a good shopper and a crazy one. hahas. ooh, and we're not just crazy shoppers, we're crazy swimmers too. went swimming each afternoon right after check-in hoping to catch some afternoon rays.. haha.our desperate attempts at sun-tanning and exercising. gosh.
managed to explore the city on our own the last day. took the skytrain from terminal to terminal.. covered 44 stops in total...spent 100 baht on a one-day pass. even ventured to cross chao praya river by their local ferry. 2 baht. felt super adventurous.. but i think our 2 baht was wasted coz there was hardly anything across the river where they called it the peninsula except for 2 hotels.. all the rest was just this highway, a park with afew old gym equipment and 2 men trying to show-off their muscles. and they were old men. hahas..the rest were roadside shops and bottling factories i think and homes. yeah. well, i was pretty exciting to do sth extraordinary though. suddenly felt so immersed into their local culture.
enjoyed the trip tremendously..yups.looking forward to another trip now.. planners... start planning!! =Þ
ok..life's back to normal the past few days..routine of lessons all over again..with more make-ups. sobs. and catching up on some soccer action. well, germany's out of the tournament so...haiz. but i'll still watch anyway. it's quite a joy watching and commenting. hee.
wanted to get a tan yesterday..went all the way to pasir ris found out that we couldn't kayak there..then came all the way back down to east coast and realise we still couldn't kayak was super frustrating. went cycling in the end but cldn't get much tanner in that gloomy weather. sue...let's go tanning in sentosa next week kae. shall we?!?
met up with the oacians in the evening.. dinner at newtons with cat, cyn,ao,lynda and bb.. how fortunate bb must feel that each time he books out he had dinner with a whole table of girls.. hmm..
walked down to orchard for häagen-das after tt. cyn's ice-cream treat! thanks girl! had bailey's, strawberry cheesecake, toffee creme and macadamia nut.. heavenly.. haha..and sinful especially when we're supposed to be on a diet and watching what we eat. sigh.
listened to what happened at the camp.. still feeling quite disturbed by it each time i think bt it. i wonder what's happening to younger people these days. the same thing's happening everywhere and it hurts to hear such comments. why are things turning out this way? to think that we're getting bad..it's only getting worse as time goes by. i'm just praying for the better since there's not much we can do. maybe it's our fault for not instilling the right attitude in them.
and sometimes i really wonder what 14-15 year olds think these days. it's seems like miles from what we did in the past. though it's just a difference of few years. i wished i cld place more faith and trust in st nicks girls..
